• Bab Bou Jeloud - Bab Boujloud serves as the main entrance to the Fez medina. It is also known as “the blue gate” due to the blue color on one of its sides. The area surrounding Bab Boujloud is the central neighborhood of the Fez medina.
• Bou Inania Medersa - The Medersa Bou Inania is a Koranic school established in the 14th century. This historic site is open to non-Muslim visitors.
• Fontaine Nejjarine - Located in Nejjarine Square, the Nejjarine fondouk has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1916 for its distinctive Alaouite architecture.
• Kairaouine Mosque (Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin) - The Al Qarawiyyin mosque is also the oldest university in the world that is still operational.
• Chouara Tannery - The traditional Chouara tannery is a remarkable site resembling a watercolor palette. It’s a must-see!
• Al-Attarine Madrasa - This madrasa was constructed between 1323 and 1325 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Said Uthman. It was named after the adjacent perfume and spice market: the Souk el-Attarine. It is located near the Quaraouiyine.
