Great guided tour - We only had limited time in Fez so we decided to take a guided tour of the Old Medina. Jamal was a knowledgeable and attentive guide, we really enjoyed the tour with him. He showed us all the cool places and postcard shots without getting lost in the maze. Be aware that the Medina has almost 10k streets, a lot of them with dead ends. Having a guide gets us to all the places we want to visit without the hustle was such a good choice. Highly recommended!

Interesting and safe - This Medina is another world. Kamal was a lovely gentle guide. I felt we were getting good info. He was obviously well known throughout. We did stop at a few places and obviously encouraged to shop by those places but never pressured, except at the tannery. That felt quite pressured. This was exceptional value and we had a lovely small group of 5. Would be concerned with a massive group due to some of the crowded areas. You would spend ages waiting for people.

Youssef Special Guide - We met Youssef by chance and it was a real luck, he is very good, he explains many things and knows how to do his job. He speaks great Italian. We are all very satisfied

Mohamed is a guide... - Mohamed is an exceptional guide!
He offered us a real immersion in the medina, with great generosity and without counting his time. He knows everyone, which has allowed us to live unique moments: having tea, tasting fresh bread, visiting different artisans, discovering places rich in history – all without any pressure to buy. The experience was pleasant and rewarding.
As a bonus, he even organized us the rest of our day with dinner in a typical Moroccan restaurant and called another Mohamed, a very nice taxi driver, to tour the main sites outside the medina. A full and memorable day, from 9:30 am to 6 pm, that we are not about to forget!

NO way it could have been any better - I don't know what we did to deserve the best, but we got it.
Our guide, Hicham, started the complete fascination of Fez in less than one minute out of our Riad door.
When he told us he actually grew up in the home next door, we were hooked to every word he said.
A 10 minute description of the Riads, Dars, streets, alleys, doors and everything else within the first 20 steps enforced his absolute love and knowledge of the Fez Medina in every way. I could not imagine this 4 hour tour being any better, which actually turned into 5, and he would have kept going if we had let him.
A perfect day ending with his dinner recommendation, a perfect dinner.

Mostafa was an excellent... - Mostafa was an excellent guide through the medina. I was lucky to be the only person with him so we had a great conversation while exploring the medina. Mostafa is enthusiastic and knows the medina and the people who live and work there. I could not have had a better experience.

A good decision - We thought it was a good idea to see the Medina accompanied, as we had been told about the maze that walking through its streets can entail. We ended up happy, much better than having visited on our own.
