Incredible Experience with Amazing Food - What an amazing experience from the start to the end. Our host Rabab met my husband & I near our hotel & then walked to the local market portion of the Medina & bought the ingredients for our lavish meal we were going to cook. Rabab was so friendly & easy to talk to. From there we walked to the nearby hotel where we were going to prepare our meal. We prepared our meal in the garden of the hotel & it was such a beautiful setting to do it in rather than in a kitchen. The chef (I can’t remember her name) was so kind & patient with my husband & I… mostly my husband since his cooking skills are not very good LOL. Rabab was our translator during the entire session & assisted with the cooking as well which was so lovely. We made green pepper salad, eggplant salad, chicken tajine, meatball tajine & mhalabia for dessert. Everything was AMAZING! My husband & I couldn’t believe how delicious the food came out. It was easily the best meal we had in Fez. If you’re looking for a cooking class THIS IS THE ONE TO BOOK!

Fez in the kitchen: to do! - Beautiful chef and organization. A gastronomic break with a different point of view. Very interesting to be able to buy the ingredients at the market. Simple to reproduce. I advise.

Very nice experience! - It was really fun. Rabab first bought the necessary groceries in the souks with us, which we then needed for cooking. In an open kitchen in a great courtyard we processed and ate the ingredients. It was a great experience and we were really fed up afterwards:-)

Amazing cooking class with lovely tour guide Rabab - We had such a pleasant time with Rabab and the rest of the staff during the cooking class. We were taken to local grocers and shown what to buy to prepare our dishes. Prior to the tour, the guide asks you if you have any allergies or preferences, so the menu is prepared specifically for us! The cooking class was a wonderful experience with a lot of warmth and patience. We learned how to cook with a tagine, and used hyper-local ingredients which made the food taste so good! We also prepared our dishes in a beautiful riad with an orange tree canopy covering us. There were dozens of birds chirping which added to the already magical experience! We would recommend Rabab and her team to anyone! Thank you again!

Loved the cooking class in Fes, fun & relaxing way to spend 1/2 day in Morocco! - The cooking class in Fes was terrific! I took the class with a friend & we both loved the overall experience. Thoroughly recommend it. Our host Rabab was great, she first took us through the old souk to buy all the fresh ingredients for the cooking class. I found it very interesting going with a local, I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the market and being able to ask Rabab questions about some foods I saw in the market (that were new to me) as we went along. The cooking class itself was very well organised & set up in a beautiful courtyard with tiled fountain and orange tree. It was lovely doing the class in such a beautiful, traditional outdoor space. We had a totally hands-on experience of preparing all the Moroccan recipes we made during the class. Our chef Naim taught us well in teamwork with Rabab translating. After a fun morning of cooking, my friend and I sat in the courtyard to eat the salads, tajin dishes and the dessert we’d made in class - it was such a great lunch - everything we’d made was really delicious, actually it tasted extra delicious because it was so freshly made! Since the cooking class I’ve bought a tajin in the market and look forward to now making the dishes at home. I’m so glad I spent a 1/2 day of my holiday time in Morocco doing this cooking class in Fes, it was fun, relaxing, the food we made was delicious and great to learn a new skill.

The first thing to do in Fes - If you plan on visiting the beautiful city of Fes, be sure to do this activity first! The cooking class first took you through the markets and picked out the vegetables and food that was needed for the cooking class. Then, it takes you to the Riad where the class begins. The instructors were so nice, welcoming, and great to talk to. They made the class engaging and fun. And when we were done with making the food, we got to sit down and eat it and it was by far the BEST Moroccan food I had in all of Morocco. We went to plenty of restaurants within the country, but the cooking class with making your own food made the food special and taste wonderful. It truly is. 10/10 experience. I learned so much and truly the best food you will eat. Not a plate left with any food on it at the end! So the next time you visit Fes, come here to this cooking class and learn how to make wonderful Moroccan dishes and eat the best food in the country. It is 100% worth the price.
