Day 1: Fez – Chefchaouen

An English-speaking driver will greet you at your hotel, and you will depart from Fez to Chefchaouen, traveling through the Rif Mountains of Wazzane. You will arrive early in the morning to explore the blue town of Chefchaouen, nestled between the two mountains, Ech-Chaoua (The Horns), from which it derives its name. The town features steep, narrow streets with white and indigo lime-washed buildings, charming squares, ornate fountains, and houses with intricately decorated doorways and red tile roofs, making it a delightful place to visit. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant with a scenic view of the Ech-Chaoua Mountains.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, the authentic journey continues towards Volubilis, passing through Wazzan and other villages in the Rif region. In Volubilis, you will explore the Roman ruins and learn about its archaeological sites. The journey then proceeds to Meknes, a city representing the historical heritage of the 17th century. Here, you will stop for lunch and spend time around the massive walls of the medina, visit Bab el Mansour, and enjoy a tour of Moulay Ismail’s shrine, before heading back to Fez.
