Anniversary In Merzouga - My wife and I went to Morocco for our anniversary, and decided to do this tour to get from Fes to Marrakech, as well as an interest in seeing the Sahara and sights. Our tour guide, Hesham, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, funny, accommodating, and a joy to be around. The time in Merzouga was breathtaking, from the sunset in the morning, spacious and comfortable tents, and hourlong quad ride with my wife. It was so much fun. The additional tours, stops and tour guides en route to Marrakech were informative and provided great insight into the Berbur culture and history. The riad we stayed on our second night was equally fantastic. The pool was so nice and the food provided was delicious. The vehicle had WiFi, had high quality seats, and was kept at a comfortable temperature. This was a welcomed reprieve in the hot weather in July. We would 100% do this again and recommend it to others traveling to Morocco! It was a highlight for us.

Fantastic tour!! - This activity was amazing! Hesham was so knowledgeable, kind and very well organized. This has been our favorite part of our time in Morocco. The desert portion was INCREDIBLE. Don't pass it up. Also do NOT miss out on the quad add-on. Worth every penny. Lots of driving overall for the tour, but probably the best way to navigate between Fez and Marrakech.

Fantastic Trip with our Excellent Guide Mehdi - This tour was a fantastic experience and well worth the time and money. The drives are long, but the scenery is incredible — especially through Morocco’s Jurassic Park and the High Atlas Mountains. The bus is well-equipped with air conditioning, charging ports, and WiFi, which made the long days more comfortable. The trip offers excellent value. Be sure to bring cash, as you'll need it for meals, souvenirs, and tips. A big part of what made this trip so enjoyable was our driver and guide, Mehdi. He went above and beyond — stopping for food, water, toilet breaks, ATMs, and even pulling over when we wanted to take in a view. But more than that, Mehdi is incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot about Morocco’s geography, culture, and history. He gave honest advice on where to shop, what to skip, and how to get the best experience. He speaks nine languages, has a great sense of humour, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He truly made the trip special. We ended up doing more than what was listed in the itinerary, including visiting ancient irrigation wells, seeing nomadic life firsthand, spotting monkeys in the cedar forest, and stopping at a UNESCO-listed rug shop for a home-cooked lunch. These additions really added to the experience. Luggage was always safe and accessible. For the camel trek, it’s best to pack a small overnight bag — the rest of your luggage stays behind securely and is waiting for you afterward. We stayed in the standard desert tents. They were simple and warm (no air conditioning), with shared bathrooms. There were a few bugs, but nothing unmanageable. The food was very good, with both vegetarian and meat options. The early start for the sunrise (breakfast at 5:00 AM) was totally worth it. If you’re after more comfort, you can upgrade to a higher-tier tent, but we found the basic option fine for the short stay. Pick-up and drop-off were arranged close to our Riads, which made things very easy. Overall, this tour exceeded expectations. The landscapes, cultural experiences, and especially the guidance from Mehdi made it one to remember. Would definitely recommend.

Mehdi best guide ever 100 ⭐️ - Our 3-day desert tour from Fez to Marrakesh was absolutely legendary — and that’s almost entirely thanks to our guide, Mehdi, a.k.a. the MVP of the Moroccan desert. He was actually hilarious (not just “tour guide with a joke book” funny — legitimately funny), completely honest, and somehow made the entire journey feel like a breeze, even while crossing half the country. From day one, Mehdi was going above and beyond — sharing local gems, telling stories that had us laughing and learning at the same time, and guiding us to places so stunning we had to double-check we weren’t in a National Geographic special. The Sahara was absolutely surreal — like walking into a desktop wallpaper — and Mehdi made sure we soaked it all in, camel caravan, and ATVs at sunup! The group we traveled with, along with Mehdi, became family! The long drives somehow flew by, thanks to great tunes, good vibes, and Mehdi’s ability to casually drop Morocco and Saharan wisdom like it was nothing. By the end, we had unforgettable memories, camel and ATV selfies, and a suitcase of reasonable treasures Mehdi introduced us to. 11/10 recommend this tour — and if you get Mehdi as your guide, congratulations: you’ve hit the desert jackpot!!
