FES - IFRAN - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT CAMP

Merzouga - After enjoying breakfast, the journey south to the Merzouga desert begins, passing through Midelt and Errachidia.

Ifrane - The first stop is in Ifrane city, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to Merzouga via Midelt and the Ziz Valley.

Atlas Mountains - This trip offers glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. A stop at the renowned cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, provides a chance to see the Barbarian apes.

Errachidia - As you approach Er Rachidia city, the landscape begins to reveal desert features.

Midelt - After a lunch break in Midelt, the journey continues through the stunning Ziz Valley, with stops for panoramic views.

Dades Gorges - After breakfast, drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat M’Gouna and Ouarzazate. The route, known as the way of a thousand Kasbahs, offers numerous opportunities for stunning photographs.

El Kelaa M’gouna - Stop at Kalaat M’Gouna, “the rose city,” to purchase rosewater, which will keep your linens fragrant long after the trip.

Ouarzazate - Continue to Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa.”

Ait Ben Haddou - Lunch is at the famous Ait Benhaddou kasbah, the largest in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for films like ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ and ‘Gladiator.’

Tizi n Tichka - The journey continues through the stunning Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains, with stops for breathtaking panoramic views before reaching Marrakech.
