Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fez

Fez - On the first day of the journey, the operator will not meet you at the port or airport. Instead, the trip will traverse the Rif mountains and the city of Tetouan, offering stunning mountain views until reaching Chefchaouen, a remarkable village nestled at the base of the Rif Medina mountains. Chefchaouen features a Spanish-style square surrounded by unique shops and craft stores, as well as rooftop restaurants and cafes where lunch will be enjoyed before proceeding to Fez for an overnight stay in a riad.

Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Gorges of Ziz - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga

Merzouga - After breakfast, the journey continues south through Ifrane and Azrou, crossing the Middle Atlas mountains. Highlights include a stop in cedar forests to observe Barbary apes, a passage through Tizi Ntalghamt to Midelt, and views of the Ziz gorges before reaching Errachidia. Following lunch, the route proceeds through Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. After enjoying mint tea, luggage is securely stored before embarking on a camel ride to a Berber camp amidst the Erg Chebbi dunes, the tallest in North Africa. The ride lasts about an hour and a half, with well-equipped Berber tents for overnight accommodation. The evening concludes with dinner and traditional Berber drumming around a campfire under the stars.

Merzouga - Gorges of Todra - The Gorges of Dades

Dades Gorges - An early rise allows for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and having breakfast, the journey continues to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, finally arriving in the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

Dades Gorges - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas Mountain - Marrakech

Marrakech - After breakfast, the route crosses the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The exploration of the Dades Valley, known for its thousand kasbah trail, offers numerous photo opportunities. The journey includes a visit to the valley of roses and the village of Skoura, then continues to Ouarzazate, often referred to as “the Hollywood of Africa.” Lunch is served at the renowned kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the journey proceeds along the majestic Tizi Ntichka Pass, which ascends to an altitude of 2260m in the High Atlas Mountains. A stop is made to enjoy the breathtaking views and visit the argan oil cooperative. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the afternoon.
