FEZ – MEDILT – ERRACHIDIA – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA.

Bab Bou Jeloud - The journey begins from Fes, heading towards Ifrane in the morning. A brief stop will allow for appreciation of the city’s charm before continuing the adventure to Merzouga desert. A visit to the cedar forest in the quaint village of Azrou offers a chance to see the Barbary macaques and the stunning Cedar trees.

After lunch, the journey proceeds to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. The route includes the captivating Tizi Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Valley, offering views of the High Atlas plateaus. As Errachidia approaches, the landscape gradually transforms, hinting at the desert ahead.

In Ziz Valley, there will be stops for panoramic views en route to Erfoud and Rissani. During the desert camp stay, the serene desert silence and breathtaking views of golden sand dunes and the sunset can be enjoyed. Berber music will enhance the experience, with an overnight stay in a Berber desert tent in Merzouga Sahara.

MERZOUGA – FES

Merzouga - The second day of the Fes to desert tour returns to Fes. After witnessing a stunning sunrise and a camel trek over the Erg Chebbi dunes, the driver/guide will lead the way back to Fes, passing through the Ziz Valley and Errachidia, the capital of the Tafilalet region. The journey continues to Midelt for a leisurely lunch before traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with its Cedar Forests and the Berber towns of Imouzzer and Ifran, known as winter ski resorts for Moroccans. Arrival in Fes is expected late in the afternoon, concluding the 2-day desert tour with a drop-off at the hotel or riad in Fez.
