- Bosque Bello Cemetery - Established in 1798, this is the oldest cemetery on Amelia Island. The land was donated to the city by Don Domingo Fernandez for public burials. Here, you can find the graves of 19th-century Spanish residents, lighthouse keepers, gun runners, politicians, boat captains, magicians, law enforcement officers, victims of yellow and typhoid fever epidemics, nuns, and veterans from the American Revolution to modern times.
- Palace Saloon - Known as Florida’s oldest bar, it has hosted notable guests such as the Carnegie, Rockefeller, and DuPont families, as well as Pirate Blackbeard and many others.
- Fort Clinch State Park - Enjoy a scenic drive through the canopy trees of Fort Clinch. It’s a three-mile journey from the main road to the fort. Visitors can choose to explore the fort or simply enjoy the picturesque drive and learn about its history later.
- American Beach - Take a leisurely drive through American Beach, founded by Florida’s first African American millionaire. It’s a significant part of the community, featuring the First & Second Homes on American Beach and the Evans Rendezvous nightclub, which hosted legends like Cab Calloway, Louis Armstrong, and James Brown (who was famously ejected from the club). The nightclub is currently under renovation. American Beach also boasts Florida’s largest sand dune, Nana Dune, named after A.L. Lewis’s great-granddaughter, MaVynne Betsch.
