- Caferaga Medresesi - Here, guests will see a historical medrese that serves as a workshop for local calligraphy and Ebru (Paper marbling), among other arts. It is also a traditional school where visitors can enjoy tea or coffee in the courtyard.
Located in Sultanahmet, Caferağa Medresesi was built in 1559 by Mimar Sinan. Originally an Ottoman school, it now functions as a cultural center showcasing traditional Turkish arts like calligraphy and ceramics. Its tranquil courtyard offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
- Gulhane Park - Situated next to Topkapi Palace, Gülhane Park is one of Istanbul’s oldest and most beautiful parks. Once part of the palace gardens, it now welcomes visitors with serene walking paths, tall trees, and lovely views of the Bosphorus.
Ideal for a relaxing stroll, the park is especially beautiful in spring with its vibrant tulip displays. The Museum of the History of Science and Technology in Islam is also located within the park grounds.
A wonderful spot to take a break from sightseeing and enjoy nature in the heart of the Old City.
