A History Lover’s Dream! - Ozgur’s Istanbul Old City tour was outstanding. His knowledge of Istanbul’s history was genuinely impressive—he didn’t just point things out, he explained the stories, context, and significance behind each site in a way that made everything come alive. Visiting the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia with him was especially memorable because he helped us understand what we were seeing beyond the surface.
We also explored the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar, and his guidance made the experience so much easier (and more interesting) than trying to navigate on our own. The tour covered a great mix of iconic landmarks and city highlights, including Taksim Square and the Galata Tower. If you want a guide who’s organized, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable about Istanbul’s past, I highly recommend booking with Ozgur

Hands down! - I and my husband did visit Istanbul in september and we hired Ozzy as our guide because we wanted to use our time efficently.He did a great job and made our day memorable.Skip the line, listen the history and have stress free day with a local.Lunch recommendation was great.Dont look for anyone else.Ozzy is the one!

Experience with Özgür tourgide - I have booked a 3 hours private guided tour and Özgür was my guide. It was a tour of the most significant seeings in the city, the Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cisterns, Blue Mosque and the gardens of Topkapi Palace. From the beginning to the end it was a perfectly guided tour, I could immediately recognize that Özgür was studying history and he is very professional at his job. His language is very elegant and elevated, he knows a lot to tell about this stunning seeings, a lot of hidden details and it makes me very excited.
With him we didn’t need to queuing, as he has straight access, which safes a lot of time.
In fact, he just jumped to help another city tour
company, who failed to provide me a guide. So he was so flexible to help me with this tour!
On top of that, because of the inconvenience he offered me for free to join an amazing Sunset Bosphorus tour on the big Yacht, I appreciated this a lot! The Sunset tour was also marvelous and I was very happy with the Program Özgür could offer to me
I will recommend to the people use his help for the private tours.

Great day in the historical center of Istanbul - Oz is an experienced, polite and charming guide that made our overall culture day so much nicer and more personal. He knew a lot about the different sites we visited and added anecdotes to make it more compelling. He was very flexible and adapted to our expectations. Overall we had a great day full of history, excitement and knowledge. Thank you Oz! He also took us to a great place for lunch!

Istanbul with Oz- great tour! - Oz was a fantastic guide! His background made for very interesting discussions about all the sights we visited and about the region in general. I give the highest recommendation for a private guide- and Oz was one of our best ever- it’s such a delightful way to learn all the history about the sights and the culture from a local! We felt like we were saying goodbye to a dear friend at the end of the tour!

All the highlights in one day! - We had an amazing experience with the Private Guided İstanbul City Tour. Our guide, Ozgur, was absolutely wonderful—he brought the city to life with his deep knowledge of Istanbul’s history as well as insights into the modern-day social scene in Turkey. His storytelling made every stop meaningful and memorable.
My wife and I loved every moment of the tour. Be prepared to walk around 7 miles, but don’t worry—the pace is comfortable and enjoyable, giving you time to truly take in the sights.

A memorable experience. - We had a wonderful time with our guide Alize. She was incredibly knowledgeable and also a great person to spend the day with. We spent the day learning and talking about all things Istanbul and had a lovely lunch as well. Thanks Alize for a memorable experience!
