- Serpent Column - The Serpent Column was brought to Constantinople by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century. Originally part of a victory monument dedicated to Apollo, it commemorates the Greek triumph over the Persians at the Battle of Plataea (479 BC).
- Obelisk of Theodosius - Situated in Sultanahmet Square, the Obelisk of Theodosius was initially erected in Egypt by Pharaoh Thutmose III (15th century BCE). It remains one of the best-preserved ancient obelisks globally.
