• German Fountain - The German Fountain (Turkish: Alman Çeşmesi; German: Deutscher Brunnen) is a gazebo-style fountain located at the northern end of the former Hippodrome of Constantinople (Sultanahmet Square) in Istanbul, directly opposite the Mausoleum of Sultan Ahmed I. It was erected to mark the second anniversary of German Emperor Wilhelm II’s visit to Istanbul in 1898. Constructed in Germany, it was then transported piece by piece and assembled at its present location in 1900. The neo-Byzantine style fountain features an octagonal dome supported by eight marble columns, with the dome’s interior adorned with golden mosaics.
• Hippodrome - While the Hippodrome is often linked with Constantinople’s illustrious period as an imperial capital, its origins actually precede that time. The initial Hippodrome was established when the city was known as Byzantium, a provincial town of moderate significance. In AD 203, Emperor Septimius Severus reconstructed the city, expanded its walls, and provided it with a hippodrome, an arena for chariot races and other forms of entertainment.

• Blue Mosque - The Blue Mosque, also called the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Turkish: Sultanahmet Camii), is a historical imperial mosque from the Ottoman era, situated in Istanbul, Turkey. Built between 1609 and 1617 during the reign of Ahmed I, it draws a significant number of tourists and stands as one of the most iconic and celebrated examples of Ottoman architecture.
