Amazing Private Istanbul tour with Hilal! - We had an absolutely incredible day with our guide Hilal! From start to finish, the tour was perfectly paced, informative, and so much fun. We began at the stunning Sultan Ahmet Mosque (the Blue Mosque), where Hilal shared fascinating history and cultural insights. Then we visited the magical Basilica Cistern — such an unforgettable atmosphere. One of the highlights was a private demonstration on how Turkish rugs are made. We enjoyed delicious Turkish coffee and refreshing pomegranate tea while learning about this beautiful craft. Next, Hilal led us through an enormous bazaar with over 4,000 shops! With her help, we found some gorgeous jewelry and unique gifts. We ended the tour with the most delicious kebabs at Duran — the perfect finish to a fantastic day. Hilal was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to our interests. She truly made the experience special and personalized. Highly recommend booking a tour with her — it was the highlight of our trip!

What a great way to spend a day - This was an awesome day. Ozgeo took us on a personal tour of the highlights explaining everything as we went. We rode the tram to avoid traffic delays which made the trip more authentic and we had lunch at a local traditional restaurant (Michelin star and reasonable).

A whirlwind tour of all the top sites – not to be missed! - Kenan was a fantastic guide. He truly knew his way around town and was able to get us through the back door ( so the speak) to many of the much sought out sites, skipping the lines! Saved us hours of waiting in line where all the crowds were. We learned so much about the country, the people and the history of the area. It was quite the whirlwind tour!

Excellent Private Tour - Highly Recommended - We have a wonderful private tour with Eda as our guide. She managed the day perfectly to avoid the long queues at each of the main sites and made sure we got to see everything which we wanted to. Her narrative throughout the day was entertaining and informative and we learned a lot about the history of the City and the attractions.

Billur is the best! - Billur was our guide and she was fabulous! She was so kind and met us right where we exited the terminal so we couldn’t get lost. The van you sent was so luxurious!! Billur gave us so much great information and also provided some local knowledge that we may not have received in a large group tour! We loved it.

Eylem and the Tour were magical - Eylem was incredible. She suggested earlier meeting time to avoid the crowds, then she swept us up and showed us Istanbul in a wonderfully paced day. The day was full of sights, insights, information, laughs, cats (always need the cats), food, and photos. She is a wonderful photographer and made sure that we had many memories to take back with us. She was truly one of the best guides I have ever had. Definitely ask for her, she is incredible. Thank you so much for a magical day that we will not forget.

Great Day Tainted By Rug “Stop” and Sale. - Our guide Keenan was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, great energy, tailored the tour to our interests and truly helped us understand the past and present climate of Türkiye. The only thing I strongly disliked was the stop for a Turkish Rug “presentation” under the guise of tea and using a clean bathroom. We were in the learning and touring mindset and were now thrust into the uncomfortable position of having to answer for how and if we used rigs and if not on the floor then for decor and they ship etc. They have an answer for every objection, so it feels like a huge waste of time and a battle just to be able to get out of the situation. As a tourist I think that’s highly unfair to put us in such a position. When it was clear we weren’t going to buy a rug, we were then taken next door to see their other shop with bags, tiles, belts and more. It tainted what was an otherwise lovely day and left a bad taste in our mouths. I don’t think this is a guide thing, as much as a Viator thing, and won’t be booking tours here in the future. A shame because they do have some great, knowledgeable locals.
