The bazaar, with its myriad of shops selling everything from textiles to jewelry, offered a sensory overload that was both exhilarating and exhausting.

As the day drew to a close, we reconvened with our group and boarded the shuttle back to Karakoy. Reflecting on the day’s journey, I was struck by the seamless blend of past and present that defines Istanbul.
