Great affordable cruise option - We did 2 scenic cruises while in Istanbul and this was by far the better one. A much more comfortable boat and a much better tour experience. Mahsun was an excellent tour guide! And the refreshments were a nice touch.

Recommend to everyone it’s an amazing tour - Our cruise along the Bosphorus was one of the most beautiful and relaxing experiences in Istanbul — and it wouldn’t have been the same without our guide, Suleha. Seeing the city from the water gives you a completely new perspective. Elegant waterfront mansions, historic fortresses, wooden Ottoman houses, lively neighborhoods on both the European and Asian shores — everything feels more magical when viewed from the boat. The contrast between old architecture and modern villas tells the story of the city’s many layers.🇹🇷 Suleha made the tour truly engaging. She shared fascinating insights about life along the Bosphorus, how families lived in the famous yalı houses, and how this waterway shaped the culture and identity of Istanbul. Her storytelling was warm, natural, and full of interesting details, making the history easy to imagine and enjoy.🙏🤗🤩

Great Value - The price for a 3 plus hour boat ride is phenomenal. It's a large boat that has good heating and provides a smooth ride. Good narration in English and Russian. Guides are polite and professional. Highly recommend.

Nice, but if you're... - Nice, but if you’re French (or something else) and English and Turkish aren’t your asset, you won’t understand the explanations very well

Good cruise but don't waste your time on the Asian side. - The cruise was great. There was a lot to see, and the explanations provided by the cruise emcee was interesting. The stop over on the the Asian side was a complete waste of time, however. We had to spend 90-minutes in an area where there was nothing to do. The stop over was not at one of the nice ports on the Asian side, but rather at a random dock with only a few shops and restaurants. My friends and I ended up just walking into the hills and looking at all of the dilapidated houses, etc. Really disappointed by this part of it when the cruise itself was great.

Beautiful Bosphorus views, but disappointing customer service - Overall the boat tour was good. The guides seemed dedicated and the Bosphorus view was stunning. However, the stop on the Asian side could be improved. We were given about an hour of free time on a quiet street with very little to see. Since many visitors were likely there for the first time, it would have been much more helpful if the guides had briefly shown the group nearby points of interest instead of leaving everyone to wander without direction. After the tour we asked one of the guides what we were supposed to see there, and they mentioned there were waterfront views and cafés nearby. Even a short guided walk would make that stop much more meaningful. The food situation on the boat was also strange. Like other reviewers mentioned, guests who booked through TripAdvisor seemed to have a different experience from organized tour groups who were served meals and drinks. The way the food was distributed felt weird and poorly organised. We had already eaten at our hotel so we were not hungry, but the optics were odd. Finally, at check-in, when two staff members were looking up my name on the list, the female one smirked and made faces pronouncing my name couple of times. I assume she found it difficult to pronounce or just bad manners. For an international tourism service, a bit more cultural sensitivity and customer service basics would be appreciated

Owner/manager was... - Owner/manager was absolutely terrible. He was extremely unorganized and unaccomodating. My family and I arrived at the pickup spot 20 minutes early and saw the boat dock. Then, he came and told us we weren’t in line and by that time the line was all the way up the hill. We explained we had our mobile tickets already and came at the location we were told early and he still told us to go to the back of the line. The tour itself was nice and the guide was very informative, but I recommend booking another line or if you’re going to book this particular cruise, book through your hotel or tour guide or group.
