• Blue Mosque - The Blue Mosque, officially known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Turkish: Sultan Ahmet Camii), is a historic imperial mosque from the Ottoman era, situated in Istanbul, Turkey. It serves as both a place of worship and a popular tourist attraction. Built between 1609 and 1616 during the reign of Ahmed I, its complex includes Ahmed’s tomb, a madrasah, and a hospice. The mosque’s interior is adorned with hand-painted blue tiles, and at night, it is illuminated in blue, highlighting its five main domes, six minarets, and eight secondary domes.
