He has spent his entire life between the city of Faro and the Ria Formosa, which he fondly refers to as his lifelong playground. With a deep passion for the sea and a dedication to sport fishing, Nuno has worked in various roles within the hospitality…
Nuno Pudim, your skipper and guide, was born into a family of local fishermen and shellfish gatherers. He has spent his entire life between the city of Faro and the Ria Formosa, which he fondly refers to as his lifelong playground. With a deep passion for the sea and a dedication to sport fishing, Nuno has worked in various roles within the hospitality industry, including three years as a professional skipper for other companies. Now, he has chosen to pursue his true calling.
On this tour, guests will depart from Marina de Faro and visit Deserta Island, the southernmost point of Continental Portugal. The tour will also include a stop at Villa do Farol de Sta. Maria on Culatra Island, as well as a visit to Villa da Culatra, a traditional Portuguese fishing community. Throughout the experience, there will be opportunities to observe diverse species of fauna and flora, along with the traditions and customs of the Ria and its people. The tour requires a minimum of four guests, or fewer guests can join by paying for four seats.
