Adventure in the White and Black Desert & Overnight Camping

Cairo - Depart from Cairo at 7 am, embarking on a journey towards Bahariya Oasis, which takes approximately 5 hours by car. A brief stop at a rest house will provide a refreshing break for snacks or drinks.

Bahariya Oasis - Arrive at Bahariya Oasis around 11:30 AM, where you’ll transition to a safari vehicle. Here, you’ll meet a local Bedouin guide who will lead you to the main desert attractions.

Black Desert - Proceed to the Black Desert, where you’ll encounter a sand mountain adorned with black stones and minerals like coal and iron, known as “El Marsos Mountain.” Capture stunning photos in this area shaped by volcanic activity.

White Desert - El Heiz Village: Travel to El Heiz Village for lunch and a brief rest. This is also an opportunity to purchase handmade Bedouin-style souvenirs.

White Desert - Aqabat Area: Journey to the Aqabat area, famous for its limestone hills and breathtaking natural rock formations. The name “Aqabat” means “obstacles,” as it once took three days to traverse the area by camel.

White Desert - Crystal Mountain: Marvel at the quartzite crystals of Crystal Mountain, a desert gem ideal for memorable photographs.

White Desert - White Desert: Enter the White Desert, a landscape reminiscent of the moon, featuring white sand that resembles snow and rock formations that look like human heads, plants, or animals, sculpted by the wind.

White Desert - Enjoy time to explore and photograph the area while witnessing the sunset. The changing light will transform the surface colors from orange to purple, creating a truly unique atmosphere.

Bahariya Oasis

Bahariya Oasis - After breakfast, and once preparations are complete, continue exploring any missed attractions from the first day. Then, return to the oasis to find your vehicle ready to take you back to Cairo.
