Oman in an New way - We were looking for a day trip in and around Muscat through ArabianCompass, and their advice was to call Mohamed from Sunshine; he's simply the best in Oman. Thanks to our good relationship with ArabianCompass, we did. And it was fantastic! Mohamed was immediately specific and offered several options, but we were most enthusiastic about the desert tour. We also requested a guide who spoke good English. The next day, Jihad was ready well in advance, and thanks to his studies in the USA, he spoke perfectly understandable English. His explanations were clear and concise, and he knew a lot about the country and culture. We had a wonderful day together that we won't soon forget. Thanks, Sunshine/Mohamed/Jihad.

A true reflection of Oman's Nature - Wow what an experience! I booked a private tour with Sunshine Tours Oman not knowing what I'd expect. Little did I know they would send an incredibly warm, funny and incredibly knowledgeable tour guide Fawzi. I was picked up from at my Hotel in Muscat Bay and we began our drive towards Bidiya and Wahiba sands. During our drive I had really deep and insightful conversations with Fawzi and learnt all about Oman and Omani culture. Along our long drive he was thoughtful enough to take drive to locations that points of interest and we even stopped for some mint tea and Omani breakfast. As we got to Wadi Bani Khaled Fawzi knew all the best spots and locations. Knowing that I was more of an adventurer traveller he took us first to small trek into a not well known cave. Inside we got to experience how the Wadi waterflows and see some of the nocturnal animals namely Bats. After that we spend a good amount of time swimming up and down Wadi Bani Khaled together. Fawzi was very attentive made sure he guided me along the best routes into the water and was always smiling full of facts and happy to take plenty of photos and videos for my memories. As we wound down our excursion at Wadi Bani Khaled we drove into Dimiya town stopped over for a lunch and made our way towards Wahiba sands we made our way towards the desert stopped over at a Bedouin camp spoke to some of the locals, had some dates and drank some Bedouin Coffee. We also went to visit the animals that the Bedouin folk had to show camels, goats. As we wrapped up Fawzi let's the last suprise last he drove me to a specific location in Wahiba sands that was perfect for how the sun sets. Relaxing trip to desert and Wadi Vani Khalid - Great experience visiting a bidiwan house in Bidya desert with guide Said Al Kiyumi. Ate some yummy dates and Omani coffee while chatting with the patron of the family. Then cooled off at the Wadi Bani Khalid.

Unforgettable experience - Together with Khalid, my sister and I went on a private tour to Wadi Bani Khalid and the Wahiba Sands desert. This was our second day with him. Our first trip (Jabal Akhdar & Nizwa) was also with Khalid, and we enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked the Sunset Wahiba Desert & Wadi Bani Khalid tour with him. This tour was also unforgettable, and we enjoyed it immensely. We visited the pools and took beautiful pictures. Khalid is a perfect tour guide with great knowledge and a genuine soul. The desert, along with all the small details he added, made it even more special. We truly want to thank Sunshine Tours for a wonderful experience – and for Khalid.

6 STARS!! Thank you Said Al Kiyumi and Sunshine Tours! - Honestly, if there’s a 6 stars score, i’d give this tour 6 stars. This is our 2nd day and 2nd tour with our tour guide Said Al Kiyumi! This time we go to Wahiba / Bidiyya desert to have bedouin experience, riding a camel, and waking up the sand dune to take amazing videos and photos- From the dessert we then drove about 45 minutes to Wadi Bani Khalid which honestly is the best highlight of our 2 days tour. The water is clear, temperature is perfect, the hike is easy and short, and the canyon is beautiful! Said also took us to his amazing local restaurant near the dessert that serves really good grilled chicken!!! It’s so good that we think the food is a lot better than the ones at our 5 star hotel. No joke! Anw, if this is your first time to Oman, Wadi Bani Khalid is a must visit! Bring a swimsuit, clothes for change, and small towel.

Incredible Wahiba Sands & Wadi Bani Khalid Experience with Said Al Kiyumi - Today’s adventure to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid was unforgettable. Our guide, Said Al Kiyumi, once again proved to be an excellent companion: polite, knowledgeable, and always attentive to making the experience special. The vast golden dunes of Wahiba Sands were breathtaking, and Said knew all the best photo spots. On the way, he recommended a local restaurant for lunch and the food was far better than what we had at our hotel (and we’re staying at the Intercontinental!). Authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. Wadi Bani Khalid was the highlight: crystal-clear turquoise pools, surrounded by dramatic rocky cliffs. It’s truly a must-visit if you’re in Oman. With Said guiding the way, we felt like we got the best possible experience. Highly recommended!

EN couple in the desert and wadi - Driving in the desert requires DE experience we preferred to opt for a local agency DE quality, and we were not disappointed! We were lucky enough to have as our guide Mr Ahmed, who is a guide EN gold! He knows very bi EN the region and has the experience of the desert, so we feel very safe. In the desert, we were able to ride camels (provide 3 OMR or 5 OMR per person EN depending on the route). Or you can opt for a quad EN ride too but more expensive. Then the guide takes you for a wadi swim. The wadi is beautiful and EN worth the visit, but it is nevertheless rapi DE deep and full of small fish. EN pick-up from and to the hotel so comfort guaranteed! The mistletoe DE was very attentive to our comfort and very benevolent, and do not hesitate to remind us several times to take the time. I recommend!

An excellent day trip - We had an excellent day with Muneer exploring Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid. It’s a bit of a drive but totally worth it. We visited a market at Fanja, drank tea from a tea shop, drove through the desert and took some photos, rode camels, had a great local lunch, then went swimming at the Wadi. Muneer was super friendly, flexible, very informative and a pleasure to spend the day with. Would recommend. Side note - Muneer suggested going to the desert first which as it turned out, was an excellent suggestion. If you’re here when it’s hot, definitely go to the desert in the morning before the day really heats up, then cool down in the Wadi in the afternoon.

Excellent service from Sunshine tours - The tour made by khalil al Jabri was amazing as he gave a good explanation of what to expect in wadi bani khalid and wahiba sands and the drive was very smooth and comfortable
