• Fanal Forestry Station - This is a private tour designed for 1 to 4 participants, perfect for individuals or small groups. The adventure begins in the late afternoon at 3:00 pm (during summer). Enjoy a 7 km walk, with 90% of the path being flat, through the enchanting Fanal forest. If the weather permits, the sunset will be a highlight. The entire walk is conducted in peace and serenity, with minimal crowds, allowing participants to fully appreciate the route’s many attractions. This is a unique experience as it occurs in the afternoon with minimal crowds on the path, offering the chance to witness the sunset above the clouds in the enchanting Fanal Forest. Participants will explore the magical Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1999. The route is adorned with endemic plants, valleys, mountains, and breathtaking landscapes. If weather permits, the walk concludes with a sunset view in the mystical Fanal Forest, known for its ancient trees. Before reaching Fanal, there will be an opportunity to view the north coast of São Vicente Island, Seixal, and Ribeira da Janela, with a brief stop for photos.
