Great for people who love a little work for a cool reward - My sister and I had a wonderful time. I think I over prepared. Just wear your swimsuit and wear the right shoes. My shoes were fine. I wish I hadn't worn a T and shorts over my suit because there isn't a good opportunity to take them off and leave them so I ended up with all my clothes wet. Don't take your phone. Trust your guides to take the photos and videos for you and send them. The hiking and climbing are enough of a challenge to be fun. And the water was great when you're in it. Our guides Luismi and Jonsi were fantastic. So helpful, responsible and professionals. They were delightful and adorable (said the two 50 year old sisters here!). Hope you fine the nerve to jump off one of the higher cliffs. I did the medium height and wish I'd just sucked it up to do the highest one! Our tour from leaving the meeting point to returning to our cars was right about 3 hours even.

Wonderful experience we had with LOUIS our tour guide. - What a truly memorable and wonderful experience we had with LOUIS, as our guides the rainforest hike, the waterfall slides, and the rope swing was such a fun time. For the price it went above and beyond our expectations. We also absolutely loved our tour guide Louis who had really good energy and made sure that everyone was safe and having a blast. He took pictures for us, told us fun facts about nature, helped us cross certain portions of the hike, and overall he just seemed like such a chill and fun. We enjoyed a lot.

Fun but lock in. - Super fun hike! They say beginner friendly, but do not take this lightly. There are slippery rocks, muddy stairs, and walking through active currents. Bring old shoes! Most definitely a hike we laugh about now but struggled through in the moment.

Wear your sneakers! - We really enjoyed our tour! Overall it was really fun and we couldn’t have done a similar thing easily on our own. The tour guides were fun and really helped navigate us up the rocks and gave great instruction on how to go down the waterfall and use the rope swing. I was nervous but it was really fun. Wearing your sneakers in the water is a real thing! It actually wasn’t that bad and they cleaned up really well with minimal effort. I probably wouldn’t wear bright new white shoes for this tour, but any other sneaker would be fine. The guide also had a dry bag to store everyone’s phones for the wet parts and she took videos of everyone going down the waterfall and on the rope swing and pictures along the way and then air dropped them to each group which was super convenient! I never get such great pictures of my tours. The restaurant definitely seems like it was owned or in association with the tour - it had papers all over with a QR code to lead you to review the tour. The food actually was pretty good - but it was still $17 for one plate of cafeteria style food. It felt like a bit misleading when it says you are going to a local restaurant for local cuisine when it seemed very tied in with the tour - it was like a modified sea can kitchen and picnic tables and some outdoor shelters. The other con I had was the tour group was quite big - we were transported in a school bus that was full - probably 45 of us at least? So it did take time to get set up, navigate the water fall and wait for people to move along. We did get split into three groups but it isn’t an intimate experience haha.

Exhilarating and Memorable - What a truly memorable and wonderful experience we had with Orlando and Anthony as our guides. The hike, waterslide, cliff jumping and rope swing were exhilarating. As a result of Orlando and Anthony's clear instructions, we all felt quite capable to take on these activities. We had watched other groups go down the slide with limited instructions which resulted in less than optimum results. But when it was our group's turn, all the nerves were settled because Orlando and Anthony showed us and told us exactly how to prepare. Our group ranged in age from 13 to late sixties and every one of us had a great experience because of this dynamic duo's positive, upbeat and professional approach to their job as guides. Highly recommend this trip.

NOT RECOMENDED - Very disappointing experience. Our cruise ship arrived about one hour late — something completely beyond passengers’ control. Spotin Tour refused to wait any longer and left without us. We booked the tour less than 24 hours before arrival and paid in full in advance. Despite the fact that this was not our fault, they refunded only 30% of the price. That is simply unacceptable and shows zero flexibility or real customer care. To make it worse, similar tours are available directly in the port for about half the price, and local operators usually understand that cruise schedules can change. Poor service, poor attitude, and unfair refund policy. I would not recommend booking with Spotin Tour if your arrival depends on a cruise ship schedule. Martin
