Wonderful Kayaking and Bioluminescence - The kayaking overall was amazing, me and my family enjoyed it a lot, the staff were super nice and entertaining everyone, even though we couldn’t see the bio luminescence on it’s own, the crew had a plan B which was to put a tarp and look at the glow on the water. Overall very good experience and I would visit again.

A fabulous night in Fajardo. - What an incredible night we had. The trip to Laguna Grande was dark, but by keeping the group size small, we felt very safe, and we were so well taken care of by the amazing staff, especially Joe. He made our excursion absolutely unforgettable, from showing us how to best enjoy the bioluminescence to pointing out constellations in the sky. The main things that I took away from this experience was to 1) make your peace with the fact that you're going to get wet from the waist down, and 2) don't be afraid to ask questions. While the guides are young, they're local, and carry with them a wealth of information. Take advantage of it. I can't wait to do it again.

Great experience - It was a fun experience. The guides were really good, very patient with some friends who had no experience on a kayak.

Great family adventure - Great hosts… They take great care of you and interact well the whole experience. The kayak adventure at night is awesome. We had 3 pre-teens with us. Expect to get wet.

The Bio Bay is a must for any trip to Puerto Rico! - Had a wonderful time on the Bio Bay tour. The whole thing was so well organized from beginning to end. There is no better feeling than when your kayak finally passes through the channel and you arrive in the massive bay. It is so peaceful and serene. I could spend hours just sitting on the bay, watching the stars come to life. This was one of the most memorable moments of our entire vacation.

An Adventure - First , I can't say enough good things about our guides , they were amazing and they will take great care of you . Be kind and be sure to leave a nice tip for them . Navigating the mangroves seemed like a romantic idea , on paper . It was much less so at night with novice or completely inexperienced paddlers . The bay itself provided some luminescence with the help of a tarp cover because of the moonlight . The trip back to the landing was made even more interesting by the outgoing novice kayakers who were being moved along by flowing water . No one tipped over or fell out but it definitely kept one focused . All in all it was fun ....

A good experience - Nichi, Joe and AJ were awesome. They explained the mangroves and pointed out items. Unfortunately we were not able to see the glowing waters due to the seaweed and other natural weather issues. However, prior to the tour emails were sent by the company advising if this and gave us the option to cancel the excursion for a refund.

No luminescence on the night we went! - While the night kayaking experience was awesome, there was no observable luminescence on the night we went. You need bright sunshine and no rain for a few days and on the day of your tour to watch the buoluminiscent light. The guides that kayak in front and back of your group are extremely good and care for your safety. You will be kayaking with 50 to 60 kayaks all going in a line through the mangroves in pitch dark. The guides have powerful flashlights and use them when needed. All guides have a light in their back and all kayaks have a light in the tail so you don't have to worry about your safety. Everyone will have to wear a life jacket and you don't have to be an expert to Kayak. A max of two adults and one minor are allowed in one Kayak.

Bioluminescent Bay Night Kayak Tour was a bust! - I wish I could give it good review, but I couldn't because we had really no Luminescent. The guides were good, but not much of a tour, and did the best they could but Nature is nature. The kayaking was good, but I wished we did the daytime tour instead. It was just too dark, we couldn't see the mangrove tree that we were about to hit the kayak into. We put these dark tarps over us to see the luminescent, but our kayaks were pushed so close together, that I could hardly put my hand in the water to splash. There was some luminescent in the water but not much. One of the guides told me that it is better when the weather is drier, and since we were there in July, the rainy season, that could be the reason. We did have alot of rain that day. Overall, I'm not sure if all tour companies run the same way, but I would not do this tour again at night, especially in the rainy season???

Tour is a Scam!! - This company and Bio Bay tour is a complete SCAM!!! They are selling an experience they can’t deliver!! You book a tour for the Bio Bay and at different times of the moon there is ZERO visibility and you get under a tarp with one inch of room if you push the next kayak that you are tied up to splash and to even see a spec of the bioluminescence! This is a complete joke and not worth your money!! When complained and asked for refund the customer service from the manager Alex was absolutely horrible!! And said you are buying a night kayaking!? Even though the description says bio bay? And why would you go kayaking at night?? Unreal!! Then he hung up on me! Great customer service! 👍🏻 Save your money and do NOT book this tour!
