Discovering the Peaceful Side of Egypt - We had a wonderful experience in El Fayoum National Park, far away from the chaos of Cairo. It’s a truly beautiful place, both for its stunning landscapes and its peaceful atmosphere. Our guide, Zizou, was very kind and shared many interesting facts about the area and its local history. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover a different side of Egypt.

Varied and relaxing excursion to nature as a balance to Cairo with great tour guide - After four days in Cairo we urgently needed some variety far from the big city. The trip to the Faijum Oasis was perfect for this. With our own driver and especially the friendly and content-savvy tour guide Zizou everything was planned from front to back, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Even extra requests along the way were taken into account: So we found ourselves surfing in the sand dunes again while "sandboarding". A short camel ride would also have been possible. Definitely there is a short trip with a Feluca boat (15 minutes). The pier there was the only place where it was briefly full and swish. The Wadi Rayan waterfalls are admittedly somewhat underwhelming. Pretty, but after five minutes you got tired of seeing each other and taking pictures. The lake itself, with all its birds and the foresight, made up for it. Incidentally, the trip started with a short visit to the museum. The Faijum Museum is a bit run-down, but interesting and compact in content, including its own mummies and other artifacts. Thanks to the explanations of the guide (studied Egyptologist), this was a good start. The journey (two hours each way) was very relaxed in the spacious car. Breaks for drinks as well as a longer one for coffee are included. Only with the lack of cleanliness of the toilets in places along the way you have to be able to resign yourself. Dining at the local and authentic restaurant was also a highlight: More than luscious with salad, soup, rice and a large chicken leg. Plus freshly squeezed juice. The food itself is included; drinks away from the water must be paid for yourself. In short: We were very pleased and would book other tours with the tour guide without hesitation.

A five star experience - Our tour to Al Fayoum and the waterfalls was memorising. The place is so nice and peaceful away from the hussle and bustle of Cairo. Our tour guide Zizou took us to the best spots to take some pictures and enjoy the time along with a nice boat ride. Zizou, went out of his way and took us to the Papyrus museum which was not included in the original tour and at no additional cost. Zizou is a very pleasant person who provided us with a very professional service and was very knowledgeable and provided us with a good insight into Egyptian culture and history. If you do get chance to visit Cairo, I would recommend using this tour company and asking for Zizou to be your guide.

Great day trip to see the country - We had a day spare after visiting the various 'must-sees' in cairo. The Fayoum trip was a great way to experience a bit more (and a very different side) of the country. Hosni and his driver took us around in a very comfortable minibus, tailored the trip to our needs and interests. It was a bit of driving (4hrs at least) but with various stops and well worth it. The oasis was interesting - not how we imagined - so definitely learned something and you get a better idea of the desert. It's not a must do but would definitely recommend if you have time to spare. Also used Hosni as our guide to do the pyramids and GEM - was all very well organised and Hosni was very flexible to accommodate our requests.

Great day out of Cairo - Stopping at a small museum out of Cairo we were able to learn so much Egyptian history by our guide Zizou in a quiet environment. We saw life up close in the country side and were astounded by the waterfalls and lakes in the Sahara desert at the Wadi El Rayen national Park. Our expert driver Esam made the drive interesting and felt very safe and comfortable. Another highlight was the home cooked meal overlooking Qarn lake. Get out of the busyness of Cairo and see nature.

The experience of a lifetime - I expected an okay trip because I don’t like anything fake or too “touristic” (or guides in that matter), so I was a little bit sceptic. I couldn’t be more surprised because this trip was honestly more than I could ever imagine. The guide, Zizou and even the driver was extremely friendly but not in the usual “guide” way. They acted as we were friends, we sit together and drunk coffee and talked, eat amazing traditional lunch, which we couldn’t eat anywhere else because I don’t think I’ve ever find a place like this. For a moment we forgot about that we payed for this because it felt natural, like you were on a trip with your friends. I was on a couple of similar trips and although all guides were nice and friendly, I never felt this way. So honestly I can only recommend. For us this experience was one of the highlights of our trip. + When we were interested in the train schedule he causally called the train station to confirm the data he find online. Seriously amazing guy.

beautiful desert landscapes. - Everything worked very smoothly. Our guide was friendly and efficient and had interesting information about the areas we went through.. Our driver handled the rough roads very well. The felluca ride was fun and the valley of the whales was interesting, with stunning landscape. It might have been better to do the desert walk first, before the other stops, as we ended up there at the hottest part of the day. Overall a fun and worthwhile day!

Very average - Very average experience, we did not have the impression of finding the photos posted by previous comments. The waterfall area is very dirty and without much charm. There is no felucca ride on the lake but a boat trip which lasts 15 minutes (far from the 30 advertised). Our guide Zizou was friendly and interesting during the museum visit but unfortunately we didn't learn much about the places during the rest of the visit. A little disappointed overall
