• Wadi El-Rayan - Our company representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy El Fayoum’s famous sites. The distance from Cairo to Fayoum is approximately 95 km. Today, all our visits will be in Wadi El Rayan, which was designated as a Protected Area in 1989.

For pick-up/drop-off from Cairo airport, Sphinx airport, New Administrative Capital, New Cairo, Heliopolis, Badr City, Shorouk, Rehab, Obour, Sheraton Almatar, Sheikh Zayed City, or Madinaty City, an additional cost will apply.

• Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan) - We will begin our tour at the Wadi Hitan Protected Area (Valley of the Whales), located within the Protected Area of Wadi El Rayan. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in recognition of the 40-million-year-old whale skeletons found there. On the way to Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, we will visit Mudawara Mountain, followed by Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression in the western desert, 42 meters below sea level. It consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by the overflow of drainage water from Fayoum’s farmlands. Afterward, enjoy Medinet Madi (Ancient City Uncovered), which dates back to the third pharaonic dynasty, built by Amenemhet III and completed by Amenemhet IV. A late lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant. After that, we will transfer back to Cairo.
