This was truly an experience not just a touristy attraction. Mrs. Jane was very knowledgeable and it was clear the reindeer were her “babies” not just money-makers. It was an amazing walk with the reindeer at our side, mingling with their guess. It is definitely a must do when in the area. I will be back!

I really enjoyed my interactions and both our guides Yan me the owner. They were kind and super patient and explained in great detail all our questions. The interaction with the reindeers is unique and one of a kind you won’t get this close to these mystical animals. They are beautiful and sweet, do not be intimidated of their sizes or the antlers. Sweet as sugar that margarita. Only one thing that was difficult and it was in no control of the owner but they were renovating their kitchen so there wasn’t anywhere for our 3 hour walk. We stood most of the time and walked for about 30 minutes. I had back surgery so this would have been good to know before ha d. I was under the impression that we would be inside for the lessons and talks about reindeer than walk for 30 minutes and then go back inside. I totally understand it wasn’t in their control and that it wouldn’t have been safe for us because of the remodeling. But the experience was one of a kind and I can’t wait to come back.

The guide was able to share his knowledge of the reindeers. You could see he knew each personality and how to handle each accordingly. The walk with the reindeer along the trail and through the snowy forest was magical. I loved feeding the reindeer at the end.

We loved learning about the reindeer and being so close to them; this is a very unique outing! What was not so great: We waited 45 minutes for late-arriving participants which was frustrating, being so cold. The depiction we had from your tour description was that we would have time together up front to discuss the reindeer and then walk thru the woods with them, then feed them. However, the walk itself was more of an interpretive walk, stopping every 100 feet or so to learn more about the reindeer. One of the benches came in handy for my spouse who can't stand for such long periods. The entire tour was less than 2 hours including that long delay in the beginning. We wish we could have experienced the tour with you leading, but do hope you had a good time in Mexico!
