- Delta Junction - Make a quick stop for restrooms and snacks. This is also the last junction for the famous AlCan highway, where you can learn about its history and significance.
- North Pole - Watch for Santa Claus’ year-round residence, where elves are busy preparing for Christmas! Enjoy the festive decorations, candy cane streetlights, and possibly a glimpse of Santa’s workshop as you pass by.
- Fairbanks - Relax and enjoy the final views of Alaska’s breathtaking landscapes. Return to the starting point, with convenient drop-offs at your hotel or the original meeting location.

The journey begins with a drive from Fairbanks, where you’ll pass through open tundra with caribou herds, the Trans-Alaskan pipeline, and, on clear days, the breathtaking Alaska Range.

Join us for an unforgettable, family-friendly adventure as we take you inside Castner Ice Cave, nestled within one of Alaska’s renowned glaciers! The journey begins with a drive from Fairbanks, where you’ll pass through open tundra with caribou herds, the Trans-Alaskan pipeline, and, on clear days, the breathtaking Alaska Range.
Upon reaching the glacier area, you’ll be equipped with snowshoes or ice cleats for your boots before embarking on a guided 1.5-mile hike to the Ice Cave! Please be aware that while the hike is relatively flat and easy, the extreme cold temperatures can pose challenges. Be sure to come prepared!
As we make our way to the glacier, you’ll learn about the history of Alaska’s glaciers, geology, local history, and much more. This is sure to be an adventure you’ll want to share with friends and family!
