One hundred stars - This was one of the highlights of our whole week in Alaska that included the fjords and Denali! Chase was super knowledgeable and kind, and clearly cares deeply for his dogs who were all so sweet and amazing. We were worried about it being strange because there was no snow, it being the summer, but the dogs love working out and it was super cool. So hands on. We want to come see Chase and his dogs again when there is snow. I recommend this experience so highly! You must do it! You will NOT be disappointed. One hundred stars.

September sled dog ride - Had a great time on our sled dog trip. Chase, our driver, was very informative. It was amazing how excited the dogs got as Chase was hooking them up. They could not wait to get started.

Wonderful time learning about mushing - The experience was wonderful. Our guide was a former mushing competitor with his own team of dogs he still trains. While we missed the fall foliage, the snow was beautiful to travel through. We were provided special shoes because of the weather. I learned so much. Our guide was great about answering all of my questions.

Get out of the large tours and enjoy getting to know the musher and their dogs. - Highly recommend. This business is a co-op which means different mushers run their own dogs. So they know the dogs and their personalities as opposed to people working for a large kennel and showing you the kennels dogs. It is a more private and intimate experience. Watching the dogs get excited to get strapped up and take off running was the best. These dogs LOVE and live for this. Really cool to watch. It’s also located off of the Chena Highway, which is a beautiful drive. Chase was our tour guide and we are so grateful for his time, knowledge, and friendliness.

Definitely recommend mushing cart ride! - I had the best experience ever! My guide was very nice and funny. He told us a little bit about himself and his animals. he introduced us to each one of his doggies. They were all very cute! Took us through the beautiful forest but before our ride, he gave us blanket so we wouldn’t get cold. it was an amazing experience for my first time. During our amazing ride, he was nice to help us take pictures. After the ride, he took us inside to his little cabin which looked amazing and was warm. He offered us some hot chocolate, and tea which felt amazing after the nice ride.

This was awesome!!! - I didn’t know what to expect. That being said, our tour guide was awesome. He explained how the dogs were being raised, introduced us to each dog, talked about his history and experiences. All this beforehand. We then loaded up and went for a beautiful unique ride through the woods. An amazing experience we’ll never forget.

Fall dog mushing through the woods - My husband and I enjoyed this activity. Our guide, Chase made it an interesting ride. He has a great sense of humor. He introduced us to each one of his dogs before the ride. At the end you go back to the yurt for hot drinks. I would highly recommend Chase as your dog mushing guide in any season. If you happen to go in the fall ask him to show you "the bats".
