Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 AM, guests will be picked up from their Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for 10-15 minutes to admire the stunning scenery. Lunch will be served at the camp in Maasai Mara. In the afternoon, after checking in, guests will depart for an evening game drive in the Mara Reserve from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Afterward, return to the camp for a buffet dinner and a restful night. The tents are equipped with a toilet, shower, bed, linen, and mosquito nets. Electricity is available from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The Masai Mara Reserve is Kenya’s most popular tourist destination, located in the Great Rift Valley’s open grasslands. Wildlife is most abundant on the reserve’s western escarpment, making it a jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas.
Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve
Maasai Mara National Reserve - At approximately 7:00 AM, after breakfast, guests will embark on a full day of exploration in Masai Mara, seeking the Big Five and witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, which involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. This extraordinary migration, unique to Maasai Mara, is considered the seventh wonder of the world. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park. Visitors will see the site of the annual wildebeest migration and observe resident crocodiles and hippos along the Mara River banks. The game drive continues, allowing guests to explore the beauty of the Mara Reserve until evening.
Depart Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Maasai Mara National Reserve - After an early morning breakfast, guests will check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. A brief stop at a Maasai Village offers a cultural encounter, providing an opportunity to learn about the Maasai community and interact with local Maasai people. The journey to Nairobi continues, with a complimentary lunch provided at a traveler’s motel along the way. Upon arrival, guests will be dropped off at their Nairobi hotel.
