Excellent Day with a Private Guide - David is an excellent local guide! He contacted me days before the tour just to confirm everything and answer any questions I had. He also let me know that the time was changing the night before our tour, which was very useful information as the hotel did not mention anything about a time change and we were not aware of it. David is very knowledgeable and shares a lot of information while driving to each destination. We learned about not only the sites we were set to see but also about the buildings, statues and areas that we passed along the way. We started our day at Hampton Court. David provided us with tips on how to make the most of our time there. We were able to explore on our own and then he picked us up for our lunch break. David had reservations already made for us at a cute restaurant on the river. We ate inside the restaurant and David stayed outside and was ready to go when we were done. The food and service there was excellent. We then continued to Windsor Castle. We were able to take all the time we wanted touring the castle and then shopped around the town afterwards. When we were ready, I simply sent David a text and he was there and ready to go in 5 minutes. We had a pleasant drive back to our hotel with great conversation. Ask him anything about the area and he will be able to answer with confidence. David is also knowledgeable regarding accessibility at the sites. My mom needed to use a cane that day and David was very patient and assisted her with getting in and out of the van. Additionally, we asked David about local markets to visit the next day and he provided us with information on several different ones. We went with the market he recommended and my mom had a blast walking around and shopping. Bottom line, we had a great time, we appreciated his service, and we would definitely book with David again.
