Awash National Park - Begin the day with a morning gathering in Addis and embark on a journey to Awash National Park, located 230 km away, within the Ethiopian Great Rift Valley. The scenic drive to Awash National Park will take travelers through volcanic mountains and valleys, showcasing lava formations on both sides of the road, resembling freshly turned earth. A stop at the picturesque Beseka Lake, abundant in birdlife, will offer sightings of the pink-winged pelican, African fish eagle, saddle-billed stork, and numerous other bird species.

In the afternoon, continue to Awash National Park for a potential afternoon game drive and a visit to the stunning Awash Falls. Wildlife encounters may include Beisa oryx, Hamadryas baboon, lesser kudu, warthog, gazelle, and colobus monkey. Later, proceed to Alideghe Wildlife Reserve for an overnight stay.
