Next, ascend 800m for 3 hours to Bhwait’s summit, 4430 meters high, for awe-inspiring views of Bhwait, Berochwuha, Silki, Lori village, and Mt. Ras Dejen. This popular route offers an hour to enjoy the 360-degree panorama and capture photos.
Afterward, descend 2 hours to Chenek Camp, passing through stunning lobelia plants and everlasting flowers, and explore a mountain cave used for livestock shelter during droughts and floods by villagers. The smaller southern pit is 65 meters wide and approximately 100 meters deep. After descending back to the camp, relax and enjoy your last desert breakfast before packing up the camping gear.
