Bale Mountains National Park - After breakfast, drive to the Sanetti Plateau, which rises above 4,000 meters, making it one of Africa’s highest road-accessible plateaus.
This area is renowned for sightings of the Ethiopian wolf, the world’s rarest canid, as well as giant mole rats, klipspringers, bush hares, and high-altitude birds of prey like lammergeiers and Augur buzzards.
Enjoy a scenic game drive across the plateau and, weather permitting, a short hike to Tulu Dimtu (4,377 m), Ethiopia’s second-highest peak.
