Bale Mountains National Park - Day 1: Arrival at Bale Mountains
Upon landing at Goba airport via flight, the team will warmly welcome visitors and drive them to Dinsho, the gateway to the Bale Mountains. Set up camp and embark on a hike to discover the area’s rich wildlife, including Warthog, Mountain Nyala, Menelik’s Bushbuck, and various endemic birds.

Sanetti Plateau and the Harenna Forest
Bale Mountains National Park - Day 2: Sanetti Plateau and the Harenna Forest
After breakfast, break camp and head to the Sanetti plateau. Observe the Ethiopian wolf in its natural environment as it hunts at sunrise. Admire the unique flora and fauna, including the giant mole rat and rare lichens. Spot a variety of birds of prey soaring above, such as eagles, falcons, and buzzards. Visit Tulu Dimtu, the highest mountain in the park, before descending into the lush Harenna forest. Stop at Rira village for refreshments and take a short hike to explore bamboo-filled canyons and waterfalls. Keep an eye out for Columbus monkeys and Menelik’s bushbuck.

Take a short drive to explore the southern part of the National Park and hike the Gushuralle Peak Forest Trail, offering panoramic views of the Harenna Forest. Spot wildlife along the way, including Bale monkeys and giant forest hogs. Return to Goba town and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Addis Ababa.
