Respectful animal observation. - We booked the tour in the afternoon and saw two whales, dolphins, and a turtle. The team is very careful; they do not chase the animals or crowd them, but rather wait and observe, and this way, dolphins also came closer to us.
On the way, trash was collected that poses a danger to marine life, and for €60 per person, you even receive photos afterward, in case you are too overwhelmed by the viewing. The boat consists of 12 people plus 2-3 crew members. You receive information about the animals, and the boat ride itself is also a great experience, especially if you enjoy a bit of speed.
The tour was a 10/10; you can't get a better experience if you want to appreciate nature.
100% recommendation.
Attention, Calheta is a tourist destination, parking is not always easy, parking garages can be full, plan for more time.

Very nice experience - Great experience! Not only the fast (somewhat bumping) ride, but especially the encounter of two whales, dolphins, a turtle and flying fish made this one special! A lot was also told about the species and their behaviour, so it was also educational.

A very beautiful outing at sea - Even before boarding the boat, a ray was already welcoming us.
Then the sea rolled out the red carpet for us: dolphins everywhere, several whales, and even a turtle 🐢 and some flying fish.
Needless to say, we were dazzled… and we could not have dreamed of a better outing! 🐬🐋✨ and on top of that, a slightly playful captain on the sea 😉

Exceptional experience - We chose H2O Madeira because of the excellent reviews. And they are completely justified!
The team is concerned about the well-being of the animals!
We were able to observe dolphins and a whale.
The zodiac is comfortable, and we were even offered a little burst of speed.
As a bonus, a link with photos was received after the excursion.
Suggestion: headphones for translation into French would be a plus.

Incredible experience - Wonderful moment, luck was on our side, we were able to observe several whales. Very friendly skippers, the only downside was the lack of explanations in French, which was a shame for the children. I recommend 100%!

Magnificent observation outing - Excellent organization for this sea outing (the sea was quite rough, it's sporty!). We saw about thirty dolphins, a turtle, flying fish... and 2 whales! It was sublime! Be careful, depending on the conditions you may get soaked. It's good to bring a waterproof jacket, clothes that can get wet, and water shoes. Watch out for your cameras too...

Amazing Trip - This trip was out of this world, staff are amazing and full of knowledge. We saw Spotted Dolphins, A Bryde Whale and her Calf, Flying Fish and a Turtle. Was amazing

Highly recommended! - Beautiful and exciting experience! Two different species of dolphins spotted. Solid boat trip, but fun to experience. Friendly staff and we were given time to take pictures and enjoy.
