Brilliant tour - Brilliant tour, Ray is so knowledgeable about all aspects of Colchester's history. Really enjoyed it and learned a lot. Absolutely worth doing.

So engaging! - My 12yr old and I really enjoyed Ray’s tour. The amount of fascinating knowledge of Colchester he has is astounding, but what really matters on these kinds of tours is the manner in which the information is conveyed. Ray’s delivery was spot-on. He brought just the right balance of enthusiasm and humour into the tour and was exceptionally engaging. We were both very impressed. My daughter commented afterwards “He spoke in a way that made me want to listen and kept my brain switched on. I didn’t zone out once”. Thanks, Ray. It was great.

Over 2000 yrs of history …. - Ray gave clear instructions re the arrangements for meeting etc. He was absolutely overflowing with information and has a huge knowledge of local and Roman history which he imparted with great enthusiasm. So much to take in, Colchester is such an interesting place, thriving, and its many years of history evident in the buildings and architecture that are still in existence. 1.5 hrs is just the right time to see enough but not be overwhelmed.

Excellent City Tour of Colchester - I highly recommend anyone who would like to visit Cholchester and learn more about its history to book a tour with Ray. Informative and Fun tour! - Thoroughly enjoyed the evening tour with Ray. He makes the tour so much fun. His knowledge, deliverance and enthusiasm are infectious. My 80 year old mother joined us on the tour and the pace was no issue for her. You don’t walk miles, it’s walk, then stop throughout with a couple of stops with seating. The tour ended in a building which had approximately 15 steps. We loved the tour and will definitely book with Ray for more of his tours.

A walking tour around... - A walking tour around Colchester learning the origins of the city from Roman times right up to the Victorian era! Ray was so knowledgable & made the experience SO much fun too! I actually learnt so much from the tour & thoroughly enjoyed it!
