Embark on a picturesque 80 km journey (approximately 2 hours) through rolling foothills and stunning mountain vistas. The first destination is Lake Issyk, an alpine lake situated at 1,760 meters above sea level. It’s an ideal location to experience the essence of the Tian Shan and take breathtaking photographs.
- Turgen Waterfalls - Following that, enjoy a leisurely 1-hour hike to Bear Waterfall. The trail is scenic and accessible for both children and seniors. At the waterfall, take time to relax and enjoy the refreshing mist (swimming is encouraged!). There will be ample opportunities for photography. Afterward, hike back to the vehicle (approximately 1 hour).
- Turgen - Next, travel about 1 hour to a local trout farm. Fishing is available (optional, additional cost), and if successful, the catch can be cooked on-site. Relish a fresh lunch before returning. The drive back to Almaty takes about 2 hours, with a hotel drop-off around 6:00 PM. Feel free to ask the guide to take photos throughout the day.
