Delicious and fun experience with a great view - We have had a very nice experience together with Fernando. As it was still low season, it was just us two with Fernando - a private cooking class, and we loved it. It is such a fun way to get to know the local cuisine, and that with a very nice view of the Cathedral and La Giralda. Fernando really took the time to explain us the tradition of cooking paella and to answer any questions we had. Fernando made sure we had a great experience filled with appetisers, wines, making photos, and finally a great-tasting paella accompanied by a lovely sangria. The length of the experience is fine, as it went by so fast - I could have stayed longer! We definitely recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys making food together in a laid back environment with great views (recommend at sunset) and with a great chef. Great value for money.

super fun, historically enlightening, delicious! - Fernando made this rooftop paella class one of the absolute highlights of my time in Sevilla. Doing the class at sunset with the skyline glowing behind us was already such a magical setting, but he made the entire experience unforgettable. He was so engaging, warm, and incredibly clear in walking us through each step of the paella process, making it easy to follow while still feeling fun and interactive. What made it even more special was how he shared history about the city throughout the experience, which made it feel like more than just a cooking class. It felt like a beautiful mix of food, culture, and storytelling. He also served us the most delicious fresh sangria that he had prepared 24 hours before, and it was honestly the perfect touch while we cooked and watched the sunset. The paella turned out amazing, and getting to enjoy it on the rooftop with my two friends made the whole night feel so memorable. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sevilla who wants incredible food, gorgeous views, and a host who truly makes the night feel special and authentic.

Best Paella Cooking Class in Sevilla - I had such an amazing experience doing a private paella cooking class during my spring break in Seville with friends! It was something totally new for me, and easily one of the highlights of the trip. The class was super engaging from start to finish—we didn’t just cook, but also learned so much about Spanish culture and the history behind the dishes, which made the experience feel really special and authentic. Fernando, our instructor, made everything easy to follow and fun, and it was such a cool way to get a deeper understanding of the city beyond just sightseeing. The paella turned out incredible, and I love that I can now recreate it at home. I’ll definitely be using these recipes in the future! Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sevilla. It’s such a fun, memorable way to connect with the culture.

An Unforgettable Paella Experience - My two friends and I took a private class with Paella Legacy while they were visiting me in Seville, and it turned out to be one of the most perfect nights we could have imagined. The setting alone was unforgettable—a beautiful rooftop with an intimate, relaxed atmosphere that made the entire experience feel so special. Chef Fernando was absolutely incredible. He was not only deeply knowledgeable, but also genuinely passionate about paella and sharing that passion with us. He made the entire process approachable and fun, guiding us step by step while also teaching us about the history and culture behind the dish and Seville itself. What made the evening even more meaningful was that it wasn’t just about cooking—we got to sit down, enjoy the meal we created together, and spend quality time connecting and learning. It felt personal, authentic, and truly memorable. I can’t thank Fernando and Paella Legacy enough for such an amazing experience. I would do it again 100 times without hesitation!

Spectacular experience - Fernando review: Fernando made our last night in Seville something truly special. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm was contagious, creating an environment that put everyone in an upbeat mood, ready to roll up our sleeves to learn how to make paella. Fernando was engaging, exuberant, ebullient and an absolute pleasure getting to know. The paella we cooked together was delicious and plentiful. The view was exquisite and the wine and sangria flowing. The surprise gifts at the end of the evening were an added bonus. This is a Sevilla experience not to be missed whether with families, couples or friends.

Paella cooking class - This was our second time back with Fernando! He is the BEST- personable, engaging, and a joy to be around. The paella class was so fun and informative! The view was stunning. The paella was so delicious!
