• Sandwich Harbour - after picking you up at your hotel we drive to the Flamingos near the Walvisbay Waterfront, from here we pass the Ramsar Wetlands and Lagune, viewing thousands of birds, the pink lakes of the Salt mine on our way to Pelican point where we visit the 70000 strong Seal Colony, from here our journey takes us south to the towering Dunes, where Dunes meet Sea, with breathtaking views and adrenaline evoking dune drive, searching for animal life in this desolate desert area, we discuss history, view this very beautiful but harsh area and then back to your Hotel. Creating unforgettable memories. After this thrilling day you will enjoy your sundowner.
• Walvis Bay - We stop at the Walvis bay Lagune and view the thousands of Flamingos and other waders in the important Ramsar Wetland
  SOME 250 000 birds from time to time in this area
  then we turn north to the Seal colony. Here 70 000 seals can be seen close by and observed. If we are lucky we will find a Jackal in search of something to eat

Be awestruck by the seal colony, home to over 50,000 seals, including colossal Bulls and their cubs. See the stunning vistas of Sandwich Harbor, the dramatic spot where sea collides with dunes, and admire the surrounding terrains. The heart-pounding sensation imparted by skillful dune driving and the vibrant enthusiasm and knowledge of the guides will render the rugged beauty of this region all the more impressive. This tour provides a singularly remarkable experience that results in fond memories for a select few. Note that this is a full day’s tour, and a minimum of 2 participants is required.

• This tour is seldom cancelled due to bad weather, it never rains, but we have strong Sandstorms, should it be cancelled you will be offered another time schedule/date or full refund.

• German speaking guides are very scarce. These will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
• Please note due to the scarcity of German guides we cannot guarantee a German speaking guide, in peak season or when a cruise liner is in the Harbour and 2000guests disembark.
• please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show
