This tour offers an exploration of the ruins of Herculaneum, an ancient Roman city that was buried under mud and ash during the eruption of 79 AD. It was a hub for the Empire’s aristocrats and intellectuals, who often had their vacation homes along the coast near the bustling city of Naples. Visitors will be amazed by the stunning mosaics, frescoes, and decorations that remain visible today.
After being picked up in Naples, the tour will proceed to Pompeii, where a light lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. The journey will then continue to the Herculaneum excavations.
The tour manager will greet participants at the nearest pick-up point to their accommodation between 11:00 and 11:45 AM (refer to the timetable). The entire tour will last approximately 4 hours.
