Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable NP and Evening Relaxation
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - After breakfast, gather at the park headquarters for an 8:00 AM briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure. You will follow trails through the hilly, forested landscapes to encounter your designated gorilla family. Once face-to-face with these incredible gorillas, rangers will guide you on maintaining a six-meter distance while observing them. The duration of the trek is unpredictable, as it depends on the location of the gorilla families, some of which may be far from the headquarters. Witnessing these critically endangered apes as they forage, socialize, and the young gorillas play on tree branches, with the silverback asserting his dominance, is a truly awe-inspiring experience. After the trek, your driver/guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening of relaxation.
