The journey to Kitgum, a small town en route to Kidepo Valley National Park, was a long one, but the promise of what awaited made every mile worth it. The drive, though lengthy, was a visual feast of Uganda’s diverse landscapes, from bustling cityscapes to serene rural vistas. Each turn of the road seemed to unveil a new facet of this beautiful country.
Upon reaching Kitgum, the sense of excitement only grew. The overnight stay was a welcome respite, allowing me to recharge for the next leg of the journey.
