Journey to Murchison Falls National Park for an Afternoon (Sunset) Game Drive
Murchison Falls National Park - Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey will take you through the Luwero Triangle and Budongo Forest, located in the western arm of the Rift Valley, offering stunning views of the countryside.
Arrive in the afternoon, enjoy lunch, and embark on an afternoon (sunset) game drive. Expect to see elephants, buffalo, antelopes, giraffes, and possibly lions and leopards. The game track network converges at Delta Point, where the Nile flows north from Lake Albert, a perfect spot for refreshments and observing water birds and distant hippos.
After the game drive, check in at Fort Murchison Lodge (permanent safari tents), Red Chilli Hideaway Camp (permanent tents or basic bandas), or Hornbill Bush Lodge (cottages) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Lunch, Dinner, and drinking water are included.
Morning (Sunrise) Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Safari on Victoria/Nile River, Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park - Enjoy a safari breakfast before dawn to start the morning game drive at sunrise. This is the prime time for wildlife viewing as animals are most active during the “golden hours”. Spot elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species, and with luck, a lion or leopard.
Return for lunch, then embark on a 3-hour boat safari upstream on the Victoria Nile to the falls, passing breathtaking scenery, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, water birds, and animals by the Nile. The boat will drop you near the waterfall for a hike (1-1.5 hrs) to the top of the falls.
Enjoy a short sunset game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and drinking water are included.
Top of the Falls Walk & Transfer to Kibale National Park for a Guided Nature Walk at Crater Lakes or Amabere Caves
Kibale Forest National Park - Relish your last sunrise and breakfast in this beautiful Ugandan National Park with a walk to the top of Murchison Falls, lasting about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Witness the Nile’s beauty as it funnels through a 7-meter cleft, dropping 40 meters with a thunderous roar, creating a rainbow and a spectacular spray.
Begin your journey from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal town, nestled in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Enjoy stunning views of the mountains and tea fields, with several stops for scenic views before reaching Fort Portal for lunch at Fort Portal Garden Restaurant.
Visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary & Transfer to Semuliki National Park for a Guided Nature Walk & Sempaya Hot-Springs
Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary - After breakfast, delve deeper into the forest on a Swamp Walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to 8 primate species, over 200 bird species, butterflies, and various reptiles. The swamp’s vegetation is a key attraction for plant enthusiasts, featuring common papyrus, polita fig trees, and wild palms.
To Queen Elizabeth National Park for an Afternoon (Sunset) Game Drive
Queen Elizabeth National Park - After breakfast, embark on an exciting drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the shadows of Mt. Rwenzori, with several stops for the equator experience and landscape viewing.
Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch, and set out on an afternoon game drive to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, bush pigs, and antelope families.
After the game drive, check in at The Bush Lodge (permanent safari tents), Pumba Safari Lodge (rooms), or Tembo Safari Lodge (cottages) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Chimpanzee Tracking/Trekking at Kyambura Gorge, Afternoon Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel & Sunset Game Drive
Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge) - Start the day early with breakfast before heading to Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park or Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a Chimpanzee Tracking/Trekking experience. Follow an experienced guide into the forest to observe these fascinating creatures up close. While the chances of encountering chimpanzees are high at 90%, it is not guaranteed as they are wild animals. The guide will provide detailed explanations about the forest’s fauna and flora, ensuring an informative and enjoyable walk.
Kazinga Channel - Return for lunch, then head to Kazinga Channel for an exciting boat safari. Spot numerous hippos, elephants, and buffaloes as they make their way to the river for a drink.
After the boat safari, enjoy a sunset game drive before returning to The Bush Lodge (permanent safari tents), Pumba Safari Lodge (rooms), or Tembo Safari Lodge (cottages) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and bottled drinking water are included.
Morning (Sunrise) Game Drive at Ishasha Sector to Search for Tree Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After the game drive, travel to the “Switzerland of Africa” area known as the Kigezi Highlands, with its terraced hillsides and winding roads. Enjoy spectacular views of the mountainous countryside, offering incredible photography opportunities. This “impenetrable forest” is home to over 400 gorillas, approximately half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups that visitors can track.
Arrive in the late afternoon and check in at Gorilla Bluff Lodge (cottages), Ride 4 a Woman (cottages), or Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge (cottages) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and drinking water are included.
Mountain Gorilla Tracking/Trekking & Batwa/Pygmies Community Cultural Experience
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - After breakfast, hike to the park headquarters near the lodge for a briefing by UWA guides before transferring to the starting point for gorilla tracking. Bwindi has the highest concentration of gorillas, given its small size. The search for gorillas takes you through the dense rainforest, scrambling over mossy rocks and through deep undergrowth. Observing gorillas in their natural habitat is a lifetime experience. The experienced ranger guides will share information about the gorillas’ history and lifestyle.
After gorilla tracking, visit the Batwa community to learn about their traditions, including traditional dance, beer making, and fire setting, before checking in at Travellers Rest Hotel in Kisoro or Golden Monkeys Guest House for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and drinking water are included.
Golden Monkeys Tracking/Trekking & Canoe/Boat Ride on Lake Bunyonyi
Mgahinga Gorilla National Park - Similar to gorilla trekking, begin Golden Monkey tracking with a pre-tracking briefing at the Park headquarters. Hiking through the forests to see Golden Monkeys is less strenuous than gorilla tracking as they live in lower areas, so the trek lasts no more than 3 hours. Spend an hour with the Golden Monkey family, taking photographs and observing their behavior. There is no minimum number of visitors, and the age limit is 12 years.
Lake Bunyonyi - In the afternoon, after lunch, enjoy a canoe ride on the scenic Lake Bunyonyi. This lake allows you to visit all 29 islands, including the floating Island and the punishment Island, where young girls who became pregnant before marriage were abandoned.
Check in at Itambira Island, Seeds of Hope Hotel (tree house cottages), or Bunyonyi Overland Resort (cottages) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Arrive in the afternoon, have lunch, and embark on an afternoon game drive to spot zebras, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, waterbucks, and more. Birdwatchers can see malachite kingfishers, African Fish eagles, blue-headed weavers, Rufous long-tailed starlings, herons, pelicans, the rare shoebill, and cormorants.
After the game drive, check in at Hyena Hill Lodge (cottages) or Eagles’ Nest Lodge (permanent safari tents) for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and bottled drinking water are included.

Lake Mburo National Park - Enjoy your last sunrise in this beautiful part of Uganda with a guided nature walk (walking safari with a guide) to spot zebras, giraffes, eland, topi, antelope, and Cape buffaloes up close. If time and conditions permit, take the trail to the top of the hills to see Lake Mburo and beyond, offering a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo National Park.
