Trekking with Uganda Gorillas – Batwa Pygmies Visit
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - The 3-day Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi begins with a briefing at 7:30 am, conducted by the Warden and his team of Rangers at the park offices. All gorilla trackers must be present at this time to attend the briefing, which provides an overview of what to expect during the trek. A gorilla safari in Bwindi Forest offers several gorilla groups to choose from, with Rangers considering participants’ overall fitness. Gorilla tracking is challenging, but the experience is incredible once the primates are spotted. Observing a family of mountain gorillas is always a delight. Watching the young ones play and roll around can be captivating for hours. Mountain Gorillas are playful and curious, so don’t be surprised if they approach closely. While with the gorillas, it’s important to follow the guide’s instructions and avoid sudden movements.
