Lake Victoria - Explore Mabamba Swamp & transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy a comprehensive birdwatching session in Mabamba Wetland, a prime location for wetland species. Anticipated sightings include the Papyrus Gonolek, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, Goliath Heron, African Jacana, Malachite Kingfisher, African Marsh Harrier, Red-chested Sunbird, and Little Bittern. Later in the afternoon, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

Lake Mburo National Park

Lake Mburo National Park - Embark on a morning game/birdwatching drive. Expected sightings include the Red-faced Barbet, Brown-chested Lapwing, African Finfoot (with an optional boat trip), Bare-faced Go-away Bird, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove, African Hoopoe, Crested Francolin, and African Scops Owl. Optional afternoon activities include a nature walk or a boat ride for observing shoreline species.

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kazinga Channel. Travel west towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned as one of Africa’s richest birdwatching areas. Enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Likely sightings include the African Fish Eagle, Yellow-billed Stork, Water Thick-knee, African Skimmer, Great White Pelican, Great Cormorant, Swamp Flycatcher, and Saddle-billed Stork.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Experience a morning birdwatching drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park (Kasenyi Plains / Crater Drive). Expected sightings include the Grey Kestrel, White-tailed Lark, Black-bellied Bustard, Martial Eagle, African White-backed Vulture, African Wattled Lapwing, Temminck’s Courser, and Lesser flamingos. In the afternoon, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Kibale Forest National Park Birding

Kibale Forest National Park - Engage in birdwatching at Kibale Forest National Park. Anticipated sightings include the Green-breasted Pitta, Afep Pigeon, Black Bee-eater, Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Yellow-spotted Barbet, White-naped Pigeon, and Dusky Long-tailed Cuckoo.
