Queen Elizabeth National Park - After lunch, continue west to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most popular parks, covering 1,978 sq. km. It is located in the western region of the country, approximately 376 km from Kampala. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon crater drive through the park and explore the Katwe Salt Lake area.
Game Drive and Boat Ride on Kazinga Channel
Queen Elizabeth National Park - Begin the day early at around 6:00 am with a morning game drive along the Kasenyi trail, offering a chance to see various animals such as waterbucks, Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs, and numerous bird species. After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. The park is home to approximately 100 mammal species and around 606 bird species.
Kazinga Channel - In the afternoon, enjoy a two-hour boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lake George and Lake Edward. While on the boat, observe animals like hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, and kobs, as well as a variety of birds such as malachite kingfishers and pink-backed pelicans along the banks and in the trees.
Chimpanzee Trekking Tour
Kyambura Game Reserve (Kyambura Gorge) - Start the day with a game drive out of the park and head to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. After the trek, drive back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Upon arrival, guests will be transferred to their hotel or the airport for their flight home.
