Murchison Falls National Park - Upon your morning arrival (between 6 am and 7 am), a Kubwa Five Safaris representative will greet you at Entebbe airport with your name displayed on an A4 paper. You will then be driven through several districts to reach Murchison Falls National Park.
A stop will be made at Karuma Falls, where you can enjoy lunch either en route to Murchison Falls National Park or at your hotel. After checking in at your hotel, embark on an evening game drive to observe lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Rothschild’s giraffes, oribis, baboons, antelopes, leopards, and a variety of bird species.
Dinner and overnight stay at Parkside Safari Lodge.
Karuma - Karuma Falls is a significant tourist attraction due to its strategic location at the base of the Victoria Albertine. It gained fame when the first explorer, John Speke, passed through Karuma Falls while tracing the source of the Nile River, the longest river in the world, flowing southwards into Sudan.
Morning Game Drive, Boat Cruise, and Hiking
Murchison Falls National Park - After an early breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a morning game drive on the Northern Delta Nile. Expect to see lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffes, oribis, and baboons. Additional activities include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta.
Following the game drive, embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile between 2 and 5 pm. This cruise provides a stunning view of the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be spotted along the riverbanks.
You will hike from the base of the falls to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a gorge in the rocks and cascades 43 meters below, flowing westwards into Lake Albert. Afterwards, check into your hotel.

Final Day | Return Journey
Entebbe - After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala. Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon for a transfer to Entebbe for your return flight home.
Kampala - Originally built on seven hills, Kampala, the capital of Uganda, now sprawls over more than 20 hills and continues to expand rapidly.
Kampala is filled with vibrant markets, including the bustling Nakasero Market at the foot of Nakasero Hill, offering fresh produce such as eggs, chickens, fish, halal meats, and a variety of colorful vegetables, tubers, and fruits. Don’t miss Kampala’s famous Rolex – not a Swiss watch, but a popular street food combining an egg omelet and vegetables wrapped in a chapatti (a flat, round bread made without yeast). Further west, Owino Market offers a wide range of goods from food and spices to pots, pans, and secondhand clothes.
For authentic Ugandan souvenirs like wood carvings, woven barkcloth mats and pots, decorated gourds, musical instruments, leather and sisal baskets, and textiles, visit the Uganda Arts & Crafts Village behind the National Theatre on Buganda Road.
