Safari Drive and Nile River Cruise

Murchison Falls National Park - Start your day with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive. This is a wonderful opportunity to see a variety of iconic African savannah wildlife, including giraffes, antelopes, lions, elephants, hyenas, buffaloes, the Uganda kob, and more.

After lunch, embark on a two-hour boat cruise on the Nile River, leading you to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. During the cruise, you might encounter large crocodiles, groups of hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and a diverse array of water birds such as herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, African fish eagles, and occasionally the elusive shoebill.

Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park

Kibale National Park - Leave Murchison Falls National Park and travel to Kibale National Park, a journey of about 4-6 hours through Uganda’s charming villages and picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s activities.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Evening Bigodi Walk

Kibale National Park - After breakfast, proceed to the briefing center for an orientation on the guidelines for chimpanzee tracking. With experienced guides, venture into the forest to find chimpanzees in their natural setting. Once found, enjoy an hour observing their behavior, social interactions, and daily activities.

Following the tracking experience, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, take a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community walk offers excellent birdwatching and the chance to see monkeys, butterflies, and other small wildlife, while also learning about local culture and conservation efforts. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Entebbe - After breakfast, depart Kibale and enjoy a scenic 6–7 hour drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight, concluding your journey.
