Great Couples Trip - First time venturing out to Valle de Guadalupe, I selected this tour group after pouring through several reviews and youtube videos. We needed round trip transportation from our hotel at Estero Beach for 8 people. Booking on line was easy, I was in constant communication with them from time of booking until they picked us up on our date. Elias was our driver, he was friendly and very accomidating. We didnt know where to go so we let him suggest an itinerary and glad he did. He took us to 3 different wineries, we did a few tastings ate some appetizers and did 1 tour. We suggested a winery and he was able to call and get us in, eventhough we had no reservations. Elias is very resourceful he knows the valle well and can accomadate all your needs. The van was I believe 13 passengers or more, there were 8 of us we had plenty of room. Elias had waters for us. We brought a couple coolers on board, with beer , tequila and seltzers. We also packed snacks for the road. The wineries are spaced out pretty far so expect to only do 3 max. You consume a lot of time getting to each winery, doing the tastings walking around, taking pictures, chatting it up. I would skip breakfast and eat something before your adventure. The tour lasts 8 hrs and you can opt to pay an hourly rate after the 8 allotted hours. I forget the rate but it was very reasonable.

Excellent Experience w/ Private Driver - We had an excellent experience with our private driver, Ivan. He was punctual, professional, and had great recommendations for where to visit in Valle de Guadalupe. We had a group of 10, and for many this was our first tie visiting VDG. It rained heavily on the day of our visit and Ivan was great at navigating wet/muddy roads and provided us front-door drop-off and pickup to minimize our exposure to the rain. The 10-person van was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Ivan even cleaned the van out during our trip to get rid of some of the mud/debris we'd tracked in. When we had to pivot because a winery had closed early, Ivan took us to a nearby winery he recommended (Lechuza) which ended up being one of our faves. I highly recommend Ruta del Vino and would use them again.

A great day in Valle - Antonio was a great guide. At 10am it was too early for wineries and we asked him to take us to a breakfast place for local food because we were tired of fine dining and he took us to a great place for chilequiles. He then took us to three wineries and told us all about the region. We ended the night with dinner at Fauna. Antonio took us to each place and waited for us. I felt safe and relaxed all day. Highly recommend.

We had such a great time we can’t wait to go again. - Ivan was so good had great suggestions as far as where to eat and the best wineries to visit , Rely attentive and friendly he was on time, we felt safe with his driving

ALEX THANK YOU - Alex made our trip sooo amazing! It was my first time here in Valle de Guadalupe and I didn’t know that most places required reservations. But he knew really cool wineries that didn’t require a reservation and also had such a beautiful scenery. Alex made me and my girlfriends feel so safe and reassured us that we could leave all our items in the van and he would take care of them!! Because of Alex we will be returning very VERY soon. We forgot to bring a cord to connect music in the van and Alex rushed home to bring us a speaker, that was so nice of him. Forever thankful for Alex and Ruta del Vino tours for such an amazing experience!!!!

Great private driver to visit wineries and restaurants in Valle - We had a great tour thanks to our driver Elías. He was professional, kind, and accommodating. Highly recommend this tour, and if possible ask to have Elías be your driver!

Perfect Wine Tour Experienxe - Elias was a perfect driver. He adopted our preferred wineries, based on our friend’s your experience with Ruta last year. .He called ahead to ensure we would be seated. The van was clean and tidy. Overall great experience, including the our operator and the wineries themselves.

Great day overall, however, poor communication - I would like to start off by saying that my friends and I ultimately had a lovely day touring some beautiful wineries in the area, with reliable transportation from our kind driver, Ivan. Overall, however, the whole experience booking with this company was less than ideal with decently poor communication and coordination. This was my 5th time exploring some wineries in the area and I was really excited about trying some places I had never been to before. So much so that I requested 2 specific wineries a MONTH in advance, with a request for another place of their recommendation. I was written back the next day and was told "I'll update your booking with the spots you're requesting!". Great! My next message was sent 6 days before our tour, confirming our pick up l location and requesting information about our scheduled pick up time. After 4 days of no response, I had to write back again to follow up. They then responded asking what time I would like to be picked up and stated they do not have a set itinerary or anything organized (confusing given their last response). I responded to them with a desired pick up time and also reminded them of the 2 wineries I had previously requested. The night before the tour I received a confirmation message on whatsapp indicating the pick up location as well as a message stating "I see your email you would like to visit some wineries (listed wineries) Do you have any others in mind?" I responded once again that yes, it would be wonderful to visit those wineries with one more of no preference. Flash forward to pick up...driver asks where he should take us. When stating we had already been in discussion with the company about those two wineries, he informed us that those take reservations and the company does not make reservations. Honestly, just COMMUNICATE with your guests. Heading down to Valle is a planned event for most people and I happily did a lot of research in order to ensure a really fun time for my friends and myself. Since I had been there a few times already, I attempted well in advance and multiple times to make sure I could see some places that I really desired to go to that I hadn't experienced yet. I would have been extremely happy to book reservations myself and/or research alternative options had I known that my request was not going to work out. Our driver did his best to assist with scheduling reservations at these places last minute, but that resulted in our day being extremely stressful and chaotic trying to make odd times work. It was annoying trying to navigate if we should try to meet those reservations or just try somewhere different. I know this may seem like an overreaction to some, but it was just really upsetting to spend money and a whole day without proper, accurate communication beforehand. I would not use this company in the future, as I would have no reason to believe anything was going to work out the way they were telling me.

Overpriced transportation service instead of a tour - For the amount of money that they were charging, you’d expect that they’ll come up with an itinerary and maybe cover the cost of the wine tasting. But no, this tour is a limo service. They expect you to tell them which wineries to go to, what to do, etc and they’ll take you there. When we get to the winery, they didn’t even help check us in . The driver didn’t speak English either. You are better off renting a van from enterprise and going around the wineries yourself!
