Guide Faruk was very... - Guide Faruk was very experienced and offered us a very relaxed but enjoyable experience. Faruk also provided a great deal of background information about Cesme and Alacaty. He was very polite and friendly. He also made an additional stop at a pharmacy for us to buy some medicine.

Picturesque Alaçatı and Çeşme - Faruk was knowledgeable, prompt and professional. He was also personable and a delightful conversationalist. His English is superb and his willingness to give you the type of experience you want is invaluable. He takes you to the best sites for Instagram worthy photos and is prepared to take photos of you so that bad selfies are not your only proof of your visit. I highly recommend him as a tour guide for İzmir and its surrounds. He dropped me at the Kordon on our return to the city at my request and gave me detailed information about catching the ferry or ambling through the city. Thank you for a memorable tour!

Clear recommendation to spend the day with Faruk - Communication 📲was super easy from the beginning, picked up on time at the hotel 🏨, space enough for luggage, super nice, mega relaxed tour to Cesme, short to the beach 🏖️and to Alacati. Absolutely worth it. Faruk is very relaxed and flexible. As a passenger I felt very safe with him as well. 😎!!️ Although not cheap, but I didn't want to take care of anything myself as I was only in the region for a few days

Visits to some scenic and historic spots - Interesting stops with a friendly guide. I would have liked a bit more commentary, but that’s just me and the trip does specify that it wasn’t a historical tour.

A day trip to Cesme and... - A day trip to Cesme and Alacati is absolutely worth it. Cesme provided a relax seaside vibe and impressive Cesme Castle which gives both history and great views. On the other hand, Alacati is full of charm with its cobblestone streets, colourful stone houses, boutique shop and lively cafe which you can visit after a swim at the nearby beach. Shoutout to our guide, Faruk, for driving me around, guiding and explaining to his best ability. Together, the trip was a memorable experience.

Relaxing scenic day trip from Izmir - Such a beautiful part of Turkey not to be missed if visiting Izmir - Faruk was easygoing and friendly, and made the tour feel like very relaxing sightseeing - flexible to enjoy at your own pace/interests, not like a big group tour. He also had great food recommendations (very important!). Would highly recommend ☺️

Chill day at Cesme and Alacati - We had such a lovely day with Faruk! He made our experience so lovely. We loved exploring Cesme and Alacati with him. The towns themselves were absolutely lovely and we could even swim in the Aegean Sea for an hour. It was not at all rushed, super leisurely and we felt throughly relaxed and at peace by the end of it. Faruk also clicked lovely photos of us around the area which was such a nice memory to take back with us! Would highly recommend this trip :)))

Quick visit with a private driver - Visiting Çeşme and Alaçatı was a wonderful experience—just a little over an hour’s drive from Konak. Even though it was December and technically off-season, the weather was pleasantly mild, with enough sunshine to take beautiful photos of the marina and even catch a glimpse of Greece across the water. Alaçatı is a charming village; most of the shops were closed despite it being past noon, likely due to the low season. Still, the quiet, uncrowded streets made it perfect for a peaceful, relaxing walk. Farouq picked me up and dropped me off at my Airbnb, and he was very friendly, offering helpful commentary and suggestions throughout the trip. If you’re visiting with a group, renting a car could be a great option—it gives you more flexibility and the chance to spend the whole day in one of the cafés and enjoy the sunset.
